Frequently asked questions
- Is this drawing hard?
- It is a Medium: sixteen steps, but they are simple ones. The cape and body go first, so it looks heroic almost immediately, and the fun details come last.
- What does it teach?
- Zigzags (cape edges and lightning bolt), symmetry (arms, boots, eyes) and drawing a figure standing square. Great pre-writing control practice in disguise.
- Can kids make it their own hero?
- That is the whole point: the suit, cape, boots, mask, badge and bolt are all separate fill regions. Same drawing, a million different heroes.
